Evaluation Services

  • We offer comprehensive evaluations to address attention and learning difficulties for children, adolescents and young adults (ages 5 and older). The first step in the evaluation process is an initial parent meeting to discuss concerns and to determine the type of evaluation needed. If an evaluation is recommended, one or two testing sessions will be scheduled. These sessions are in-person and last 2-3 hours each. After testing is complete, a parent feedback session will be held to review the results and discuss recommendations. At the end of the process, you will receive a full written report summarizing the findings and recommendations.

  • We offer kindergarten readiness evaluations for young children who are approaching school age. These evaluations are helpful for families deciding whether a child is ready to start kindergarten, may benefit from waiting, or is prepared for early entry. The evaluation includes a cognitive assessment, a brief screening of early academic skills, and a review of social-emotional and adaptive functioning. A parent feedback session follows testing to discuss results and answer questions; a brief written summary will also be provided.

  • We offer private school entrance evaluations for children applying to schools that require cognitive testing as part of their admissions process. These evaluations include an age-appropriate cognitive assessment (IQ test) and any additional measures requested by the school. Testing is completed in a single session, followed by a same-day parent feedback meeting. A written summary of results will be provided and can be shared directly with the school if needed.
