Stasia Georges is a Resident in School Psychology with over 13 years of experience as a school psychologist. She specializes in supporting children and adolescents with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, and strength-based practices, and she is passionate about helping families feel empowered and understood. Stasia works with children and families experiencing challenges related to emotional regulation, school and family stress, trauma, and behavior.

In addition to counseling services, Stasia offers comprehensive evaluations. She is especially attuned to the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse learners.

Currently practicing privately under board-approved supervision as a Resident in School Psychology, Stasia earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and her master’s and education specialist degrees in School Psychology from Radford University.

Over the past several years, Stasia has worked as a contracted school psychologist in a wide range of Virginia school districts, gaining a unique perspective on different educational systems and intervention approaches. She is highly experienced in guiding parents through the IEP and Section 504 process, offering both clinical clarity and educational advocacy.

Stasia lives in Glen Allen, Virginia, with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, practicing hot yoga, cooking, and taking trips to the beach with her family.
